Look for the Drip variant
Public guides commonly describe Drip creatures as distinctive rainbow-style variants or names. Appearance and labels can be version-sensitive, so compare the exact entry in the in-game Tab encyclopedia.
Fishipedia target · Drip-only tracker · public reports compared
Drip creatures are rare variants recorded separately from normal catches. Use the tracker below for your own Fishipedia run, follow the normal catch-pool route, and treat the in-game Tab encyclopedia as the final authority for your current build.
After you have killed a fish once, Patch 1.1.3 reveals its bait name in Fishipedia. The September 29 developer notes ↗ describe this addition as help for Drip hunting; checked October 13, 2026. Read the target’s current entry before spending on a lure from a launch-era list.
The bait label unlock and your Drip kill record are separate checks: a bait name is not proof that you have killed the Drip variant, and a tick on this website does not affect Steam. If the field is still locked, confirm the first kill in-game rather than treating the local checklist as evidence.
This remains a partial list of documented Drip reports, not the complete post-update roster. Keep existing notes, then compare missing entries with the current encyclopedia. Patch 1.1.2 adjusted wishbone upgrade prices but did not publish a Drip-chance formula, so no drop percentage or maximum rate is added here. Use the bait lookup steps alongside the tracker below.

Start with the collection slot, not a guessed probability. A normal catch does not prove that the corresponding Drip slot is complete.
Public guides commonly describe Drip creatures as distinctive rainbow-style variants or names. Appearance and labels can be version-sensitive, so compare the exact entry in the in-game Tab encyclopedia.
The current public working rule is that a Drip variant follows its normal counterpart's rod, lure, or special trigger. This is a catch-pool reference, not a guarantee of when the variant will appear.
Seeing a rare-looking creature is not enough for the achievement. Confirm the Drip slot after the kill, and keep your browser checklist separate from Steam's actual unlock state.
Steam's official achievement descriptions separate these targets. Do not use a normal completion checkbox as proof of Drip completion.

| Achievement | Official target | What to track here |
|---|---|---|
| Drip | Kill a drip creature | Any confirmed Drip kill is a useful first milestone. |
| Collector | Find and kill all the creatures | Use the normal Fishipedia database for the broader creature list. |
| Fishipedia | Find and kill all drip creatures | Use this page's Drip-only checklist and confirm each slot in the game. |
This is a partial list of three named Drip reports, not the full Fishipedia roster. Parrotfish is named in an official patch; Voxelfish and Bing Bong have community reports. The evidence column distinguishes them. Only mark a kill after checking your own Tab entry.

Older checkmarks outside this partial list remain stored, but are not evidence that those Drip variants exist. Export saved notes before clearing browser data. The export also includes earlier Drip notes from Fish Locations.
This is the most disputed Drip report in the current public material, so the useful answer needs an evidence boundary.
Current public reports place Drip Voxelfish in the normal Voxelfish area or pool on Rocks. The companion database lists ordinary Voxelfish there as a Professional Lure catch.
Use the Fishing Rod with the Professional Lure as the current public working route. There is no reliably confirmed dedicated Drip lure in the sources checked for this page.
Players report long waits and disagree about whether the behavior is bugged. No official percentage, pity counter, fixed weather condition, fixed time, or guaranteed cast count has been established.
Open the Tab encyclopedia and confirm that the Drip Voxelfish entry changed. If it did not, record the exact in-game name and current patch before treating the public route as wrong.
Keep the tracker useful by recording confirmed kills, not hopeful casts or normal catches.
Use the Fish Locations database to identify the ordinary rod, lure, island pool, or story trigger. It is a reference for the route, not proof that the Drip variant will appear.
Mark a slot only after the Drip creature has been caught and killed, then confirm the corresponding encyclopedia entry. A colorful name, a normal catch, or a community screenshot is not your personal completion state.
For the exact achievement wording, open the official achievement list reference. This page's tracker is separate from Steam and cannot award Fishipedia.
Public guide sources generally report the same rod, lure, or special trigger as the normal counterpart. That is the current working route, not an official guarantee for every Drip slot.
No fixed percentage was established by the sources checked for this page. Do not turn community guesses into a drop-rate promise or a guaranteed number of casts.
There is not enough reliable evidence to claim one universal trigger beyond the working rule of following each normal counterpart's pool or special route. Use the current Tab encyclopedia when public lists disagree.
No. This is a private browser checklist. You still need to find and kill the Drip creatures in the game, and Steam must register the official achievement.
Collection scope reviewed September 17, 2026 against the official Steam achievement list ↗, and public rare-variant and Drip Voxelfish pages from How to Fish Game Wiki ↗ and its Drip Voxelfish page ↗. Patch context checked through 1.0.12 on September 17, 2026.
Parrotfish existence is official; the other listed Drip catches are community reports, not a verified complete roster. The Drip creature concept, achievement wording, separate collection target, and the Island 4 / Professional Lure Voxelfish route are publishable as a working reference. The full Drip roster, spawn rates, weather, time windows, pity counters, guaranteed cast counts, and a unique best route are not confirmed here.
When a public list conflicts with the game, follow the current in-game Tab encyclopedia, item text, shop prompt, and quest objective. This is an unofficial fan guide and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Dazed Games.
